- Monitor hot work areas to identify and respond to fire hazards;
- Ensure fire protection equipment (extinguishers, fire blankets, etc.) is present and in working condition;
- Maintain a clear and safe working area during welding, grinding, cutting, and other hot work;
- Stop work and raise alarms if unsafe practices are observed or fire hazards arise;
- Stay alert and present throughout all hot work operations;
- Follow company and client safety procedures and permit-to-work systems;
- Assist in emergency response if needed;
- Complete fire watch logs and documentation as required;
Tələblər
- Previous experience as a Fire Watcher in offshore or industrial environments preferred;
- Basic knowledge of fire prevention and hot work safety;
- Completion of relevant safety training (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, H2S, Fire Safety Training) is an advantage;
- Physically fit and able to work in offshore conditions;
- Ability to remain alert, responsible, and safety-focused at all times;
- Good communication skills.
