The Rig Clerk will report to the Rig Superintendent and be responsible for administrative duties generated by rig activity, ensuring efficient personnel logistics and records management. The role supports the safe transfer of personnel offshore in collaboration with onshore Logistics.
You and the role
- We are looking for an organized individual with strong communication skills, capable of managing administrative and personnel logistics in a challenging offshore environment. Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English is essential.
Primary responsibilities
- Liaise with the Human Resources Department for replacements in the event of crew shortages and make sure the crew change file is up to date all the time.
- Liaise with BP well site leader and Rig Superintendent with respect to crew logistics. Allocate beds to Group drilling personnel (including third party) on board and maintain records of it.
- Record all hours worked by each crew member. Fill out on a daily basis the EDRS Drilling Report POB Sheet and any other time sheets as and when required including overtime sheets.
- Book all personnel due to leave the platform on a vessel transfer/helicopter flight liaising with operational and Groupm support personnel.
- Attend all meetings and additional trainings, as and when required.
- Perform administrative duties as requested by Rig Superintendent (minute meetings etc.).
- Meet all incoming Group personnel and drilling related personnel.
- Maintain files on personnel training, holiday requests and sickness.
Experience
- Experience in a similar administrative or logistics role in the Oil and Gas industry is advantageous.

- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (verbal and written);

- Strong leadership and organizational skills;
- Ability to work effectively within a team;
- Consistent attendance and low absenteeism records.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficiency in administrative systems and logistics operations;
- Demonstrated ability to manage data and logistics in a dynamic offshore setting.
