Working conditions
- Review expense requests from various departments to confirm compliance with the approved budget;
- Assess the validity, necessity, and accuracy of expense submissions;
- Collaborate with department heads to clarify discrepancies or justify budget deviations.
- Continuously monitor budget utilization across departments;
- Report any potential budget overruns or unutilized allocations to the Head of Budgeting and Reporting;
- Participate in yearly budgeting campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of all expense approvals and rejections;
- Generate Insights and recommendations to improve spending efficiency;
- Ensure that all expense-related activities comply with the company’s financial policies and procedures;
- Assist in developing and updating expense approval guidelines.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a related role;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial reporting tools is a plus;
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts;
- Knowledge of budgeting processes;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher); Russian is a plus.
