Position summary

• The Accountant  will report to the Senior Accountant / Head of Finance and assist all accounting staff in the day-to-day functions of the finance department.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including filing, report generation, budget review, etc.
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner;
• Provide assistance to prepare profit and loss accounts sheets;
• Provide assistance to prepare financial statements according to company policies;
• Processing payments and invoices accurately and timely as per company procedures;
• Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills and etc;
• Prepare period end journals for prepayments, accruals, commission payments and etc;
• Perform journal entries as per established and statutory accounting standards;
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.

• High school diploma in Accounting or related field preferred;
• Understanding of accounting principles;
• Experience in using Excel and other accounting software;
• Accounting qualifications and certifications is preferred (ACCA F3);
• Minimum 1 year practical experience in related field.

Education
