• Monitoring costs related to transportation, warehousing, inventory management and logistics operations;
• Preparing and managing budgets for logistics departments, ensuring that expenses align with financial goals;
• Handling billing and invoicing related to logistics services, ensuring accuracy and timely payments;
• Generating financial reports that provide insights into logistics costs, performance metrics and profit margins;
• Assessing the value of inventory to determine carrying costs and improve financial planning;
• Ensuring that all accounting practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies;
• Analyzing cost data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction;
• Reviewing contracts with suppliers, carriers, and service providers to ensure financial compliance and adherence to terms;
• Working closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and forecasts;
• Monitoring logistics performance metrics and assessing the financial impact of logistics activities;
• Communicating logistics financial data and insights to management and other stakeholders for informed decision-making;
• Identifying financial risks in logistics operations and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks.

Working conditions: 

• Location: Baku city;
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 working days per week;
• Working hours: 10:00 - 19:00;
• Lunch time in the office – 1 hour;
• Sector: Finance.

• A bachelor/master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in logistics);
• Proficiency in English and Russian (spoken and written);
• Proven experience in working with foreign internet banking systems, including international payments, transfers, and account management;
• Working knowledge of IFRS;
• Proficiency in ERP systems (logistics management software is preferred);
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
