  • Preparing and managing budgets for logistics departments, ensuring that expenses align with financial goals.
  • Handling billing and invoicing related to logistics services, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Generating financial reports that provide insights into logistics costs, performance metrics and profit margins.
  • Assessing the value of inventory to determine carrying costs and improve financial planning.
  • Ensuring that all accounting practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Analyzing cost data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Reviewing contracts with suppliers, carriers, and service providers to ensure financial compliance and adherence to terms.
  • Working closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accuracy in reporting and forecasts.
  • Monitoring logistics performance metrics and assessing the financial impact of logistics activities.
  • Communicating logistics financial data and insights to management and other stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Identifying financial risks in logistics operations and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks.

Working conditions: 

  • Location: Baku city;
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 working days per week;
  • Salary- 1900 AZN
  • Working hours: 15:00 - 02:00;
  • Lunch time in the office – 1 hour
  • Sector: Finance;

Tələblər

  • A bachelor/master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in logistics);
  • Proficiency in English and Russian (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience in working with foreign internet banking systems, including international payments, transfers, and account management.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (logistics management software is preferred).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
