- Manage relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, RabbitMQ, Elastic, MongoDB, Cassandra) in line with business requirements and provide them as a service.
- Perform data access, backup, and duplication (clone) operations following information security principles.
- Maintain configurations under control and document them according to change management procedures.
- Operate databases in high availability (HA) and business continuity setups.
- Ensure installation, configuration, and daily management of databases according to corporate standards.
- Monitor logs to detect potential problems and resolve reported issues.
- Perform routine audits, apply necessary patches and upgrades.
- Take backups and restore from backups using methods such as Rman and pgbackrest; integrate with corporate backup systems.
- Use technologies like ODI, GoldenGate, DataGuard, Always ON, Patroni, etc., to manage corporate databases in remote locations.
- Ensure database security, controlling user and application access, and maintaining data consistency.
- Coordinate with other system experts to research new technologies and establish system management principles.
- Execute tasks assigned by the manager according to company policies and project priorities.
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Must have more than 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Proven experience managing relational and NoSQL databases in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with data security principles and access control.
- Proficiency with relevant tools: Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elastic, MongoDB, Cassandra, Rman, pgbackrest, ODI, GoldenGate, DataGuard, Always ON, Patroni.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
