• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in cartooning, illustration, design, and basic modeling (physical and/or digital);
• Integrate lessons with the IB PYP inquiry-based approach, encouraging students to explore, create, and reflect;
• Foster students' creative expression while developing technical skills in art and design;
• Guide students through the creative process from concept to final project;
• Prepare and organize student exhibitions, showcases, and presentations of artwork;
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment;
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students;
• Collaborate with homeroom teachers and other specialists to integrate art projects into the broader curriculum;
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom space;
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback;
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and learning outcomes;
• Stay up to date with developments in art education, design tools, and IB PYP methodology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Education, or a related field;
• Proven experience teaching art, illustration, design, or modeling to children (experience in international or IB schools is an advantage);
• Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic and design skills;
• Familiarity with the IB PYP curriculum and inquiry-based learning approach (training can be provided for the right candidate);
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners;
• Strong classroom management skills;
• Passion for creativity, education, and student-centered learning;
• Flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude;

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with digital illustration and design software;
• Familiarity with 3D design tools or modeling software suitable for children;
• Knowledge of child psychology or creative development in early years;
• Additional artistic skills (e.g., animation, comic creation, crafts) welcomed.
