  • Assist the Librarian in maintaining records of the library collection;
  • Organize and manage the daily operations of the Library, including supervision and execution of routine clerical duties such as filing, shelving, repairs, issuing, and recovering stock;
  • Assist the Librarian in providing and delivering library induction programs for staff and students;
  • Assist the Librarian in delivering INSET sessions for staff to promote and integrate quality resources as part of the planned curriculum;
  • Ensure that students maintain an acceptable standard of behavior in the Library and observe its rules;
  • Assist in conducting regular stock checks;
  • Assist the Librarian in receiving newly acquired literature;
  • Assist in maintaining relevant statistics;
  • Manage the issuing and returning of the library’s stock;
  • Shelve stock and keep the library in good order;
  • Provide support for cataloguing new materials in the library collection;
  • Process new materials to ensure they are ready for shelving;
  • Ensure the preservation and protection of the library collection;
  • Assist in the development and implementation of library policies;
  • Perform all other duties related to job responsibility as assigned.

Tələblər

  • Bachelor in Library Studies or equivalent; 
  • Qualified and experienced librarian;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English;
  • Excellent at oral and written communication;
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
  • Highly responsible & reliable;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • People skills;
  • ICT literacy.
