- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with BDO methodology and international auditing standards (IFRS, ISA);
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and internal control environments;
- Perform risk assessments and substantive audit procedures to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues;
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations;
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development;
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to delivering value-added insights;
- Collaborate with managers and partners across BDO’s global network.
Additional Duties:
- Represent BDO professionally at all times through punctuality, conduct, and appearance;
- Maintain accurate records of time and project progress;
- Meet deadlines and deliverables in line with engagement expectations.
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit;
- Working knowledge of IFRS and international auditing standards;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani; advanced English required; Russian is an asset;
- Experience auditing clients across various sectors;
- Progress toward ACCA qualification (preferably completion of fundamental level exams);
- Candidates with internal audit experience are also encouraged to apply.
