- Carry out reservoir engineering studies, including performance assessment, forecasting, and field development planning;
- Identify and evaluate new well targets (infill drilling, step-outs, sidetracks) using reservoir models and well performance analysis;
- Lead the preparation and updating of reservoir models, ensuring quality, consistency, and integration with geoscience inputs;
- Prepare and run production forecasts, sensitivities, and scenarios to support planning and investment decisions;
- Assess waterflood performance and provide input on voidage replacement, sweep efficiency, and injection optimization;
- Recommend and design reservoir surveillance activities (PTA, RTA, injection performance) to improve field understanding;
- Work closely with geoscience, drilling, and production teams to ensure integrated subsurface decisions;
- Contribute to reserves and business planning processes, ensuring high-quality inputs are delivered by the team;
- Support junior and mid-level engineers by reviewing work, sharing knowledge, and providing technical guidance when needed;
- Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and presentations for reviews and management updates;
- Coordinate activities within a group of engineers, ensuring tasks are aligned and delivered on schedule.
Tələblər
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Reservoir Engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Reservoir Engineering, with a comprehensive background working on diverse oil and gas projects;
- Proficiency in dynamic reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, CMG, tNavigator, or equivalent);
- Strong skills in material balance, decline curve, and pressure transient analysis, preferably including software tools like Kappa, PIE, MBal;
- Knowledge of field development planning workflows and evaluation of scenarios;
- Understanding of waterflood and injection performance evaluation;
- Familiarity with uncertainty analysis, sensitivity studies, and probabilistic forecasting;
- Clear communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration;
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines;
- Integrity, accountability, and safety focus.
