The Junior/Middle Finance Reporting Specialist is responsible for supporting the preparation, analysis, and distribution of financial reports to ensure accurate and timely management decision-making. The role assists in monthly closing activities, budget and forecast reporting, financial data validation, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. 
• Assist in the preparation of management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. 
• Follow and maintain reporting templates and dashboards. 
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data used in reports. 

Financial Analysis

• Support variance analysis between Actual, Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year results. 
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and other key financial indicators. 
• Assist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results. 
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses requested by management. 

Budgeting & Forecasting Support

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. 
• Assist in collection and consolidation of financial information from various departments. 
• Update forecast models and reporting files. 

Data Management & Controls

• Validate financial data from ERP and accounting systems. 
• Reconcile reporting data with accounting records. 
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting procedures. 
• Contribute to improving report quality, efficiency, and accuracy. 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. 

Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, FP&A, or Reporting. 

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Data Analysis). 
• Familiarity with COINS system is an advantage. 

Language Skills

• Azerbaijani – Fluent 
• English – Intermediate to Advanced
