Grant Thornton Azerbaijan is looking for a motivated HR & Payroll Intern to join our Outsourcing team within the Tax & Legal Services line.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in payroll processing and HR administration within a dynamic professional services environment.

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Employment Type: Internship (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in payroll processing for multiple client accounts
  • Support payroll calculations in accordance with Azerbaijani labor and tax legislation
  • Help maintain and update data in the EMAS system
  • Assist in preparing reports for submission to government authorities
  • Provide support for HR administrative tasks (onboarding, contract drafting, personnel documentation)
  • Communicate with internal teams and support client interactions when needed
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all tasks

Tələblər

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of payroll and HR processes is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the EMAS system is a plus
  • Strong command of Azerbaijani (native/proficient) and good English skills
  • Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to work in a team environment
