• Design and implement end-to-end test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through their complete lifecycle.
• Lead QA processes in Agile sprints: define DoD, participate in sprint reviews, and sign off on releases.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs across product lines.

Testing Expertise

• 3+ years of QA engineering experience in software products.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies: black-box, white-box, exploratory, regression, smoke, and UAT.
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.

Test Automation

• Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG.
• Experience writing automation scripts in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of API testing tools: Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.

Performance & Security Testing

• Experience with performance testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Basic understanding of security testing concepts (OWASP Top 10).

Tools & DevOps

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build workflows.
• Proficiency with Git and experience working in DevOps-oriented teams.
• Working knowledge of Jira like tools for defect tracking.
• Understanding of database testing using SQL queries.

Non-Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
