• Implement network security architecture for event infrastructure;
• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access controls;
• Monitor network traffic and security logs during live event operations;
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security hardening;
• Support secure Wi-Fi and wired network deployments;
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate containment actions;
• Enforce cybersecurity policies aligned with event governance;
• Support integration with monitoring and SOC functions (if applicable);
• Participate in readiness testing and live-event command centers;
• Document incidents, configurations, and lessons learned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or related field;
• 3–6 years of experience in similar sphere (ICT infrastructure projects, Network engineering); 
• Experience supporting large events, critical infrastructure, or SOC operations preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

• Network security architecture
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC
• Secure Wi-Fi and wired network environments

Familiarity with:

• Security monitoring tools
• Log analysis and incident response workflows

Certifications (Preferred)

• CCNP Security / CCNA Security;
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (advantage);
• Vendor security certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.).

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to operate under high pressure and time constraints;
• Strong analytical and incident response skills;
• High attention to detail and security discipline;
• Clear communication during incidents and escalations.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work shifts, nights, and extended hours during the event;
• Fluent in English, Azerbaijani;
• High integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
