The Planning Engineer maintains and updates the detailed project schedule using MS Project or an equivalent planning tool. The role monitors field performance against plan and ensures that scheduling logic reflects verified operational conditions.
The position functions as a coordination interface between planning, field teams, logistics, and warehouse operations to maintain execution stability and prevent planning gaps.
Deviations from plan must be recorded, structured, and communicated to support transparent performance control. The Planning Engineer has authority to challenge sequencing, readiness assumptions, and reported progress where inconsistencies or risks are identified.
Core Responsibilities
The Planning Engineer is responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating the project schedule on a regular and as-required basis
- Incorporating daily and weekly installation progress into the master schedule
- Preparing structured short-term and two-week look-ahead plans
- Monitoring planned versus actual performance and documenting deviations
- Highlighting recurring performance trends and operational constraints
- Identifying schedule risks and contributing to data-based corrective planning decisions
- Coordinating with logistics and operational teams to confirm readiness and sequencing
- Supporting structured progress reporting and schedule documentation control
The role requires proactive identification of constraints that may impact installation sequencing or productivity.

Working Conditions:
- Schedule: 5-day work week (Monday – Friday);
- Working Hours: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM;

Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in project planning or scheduling within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or operational environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
- Practical experience with MS Project or equivalent planning tools; experience with alternative scheduling platforms will be considered
- Fluency in Russian and English
- Structured analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic execution environment
