• Assist Lead Planning Engineer in developing and maintaining baseline project schedules in line with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Prepare, update, and issue project schedules (Level 2–3) and assist with development of Level 1 and Level 4 schedules.
• Monitor project progress against baseline and report variances, delays, and potential risks to Project Manager and Lead Planning Engineer.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to collect progress data and incorporate updates into project schedules.
• Review and comment on contractor and subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with overall project schedule.
• Develop and update man-hour forecasts, manpower histograms, progress “S” curves, and tabulations.
• Support in preparation of monthly progress reports, including narrative and schedule updates.
• Liaise with cost engineers to ensure schedule and cost forecasts are integrated for accurate reporting.
• Support schedule risk analysis activities as required.
• Participate in progress review meetings with clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Timely preparation and issue of the following documentation
• Overall Project Schedule Level 1
• Project Schedule Level 2
• Project Network Level 3
• Project Construction Level 4
• Progress 'S' Curves and tabulations
• Manhour/Manpower histograms
• Monthly progress report including narrative

• 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, or relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Practical knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project controls processes.
• Familiarity with construction schedules and engineering deliverable planning.
• Understanding of norms and productivity measures.
• Good knowledge of industry and company management processes.
• Strong IT knowledge, including Excel and Word.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
• Ability to analyze project data, identify risks/delays, and recommend recovery actions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Languages: Fluent in Azerbaijani; upper-intermediate level in English5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, or relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
