- As the Primary Principal’s Assistant at SABAH.school, you will support the Primary Principal in a range of administrative and operational responsibilities to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the primary department. This role requires a proactive and highly organised professional who can effectively manage tasks within a dynamic international school environment while building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
Administrative Excellence and Leadership
- Act as a key point of contact and effective liaison between SABAH, the school, and LANDAU Operations staff, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration in the use of shared spaces and resources.
- Support the effective management and development of operational staff, providing positive line management and fostering a culture of professional growth, accountability, and support.
- Delegate secretarial responsibilities to the Primary Receptionist appropriately, identifying tasks suitable for delegation while maintaining high standards of administrative efficiency.
- Oversee the performance management process for operational staff within the Primary department, ensuring consistency, fairness, and continuous improvement.
Communication and Language Skills
- Fully bilingual in English and Azerbaijani, with proficiency in Russian considered an advantage.
- Provide accurate and timely on-the-spot translation of documents and communications, attend meetings as required, and ensure clear and effective communication between all stakeholders.
Operational and Strategic Support
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Primary Principal’s calendar and schedule, providing support and stepping in during emergencies to ensure continuity of operations.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for the Primary Principal based on requested data, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Manage requests for additional operational staff support following approval from the Primary Principal, ensuring effective coordination and completion of tasks from initiation to completion.
Event Planning and Execution
- Plan and oversee all aspects of school events, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved and successful event execution.
School Ethos and Decision Making
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the school’s ethos, actively contributing to decision-making processes and supporting the implementation of the school’s strategic priorities and goals.
- Hold regular meetings with relevant staff to gather feedback, report key insights to the Primary Principal, and propose practical solutions to enhance the educational environment and operational efficiency.
Tələblər
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Proven ability to think quickly, manage teams, and effectively handle on-site operational tasks.
- Strong leadership skills, with fairness in decision-making and the ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and intercultural skills.
- Strong commitment to professional growth and to supporting the holistic development of staff and students within an international educational framework.
