• Identify and qualify potential new suppliers to expand the supplier base.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Contact suppliers to clarify technical specifications.
• Negotiate key terms with suppliers, including price, quality, delivery timelines, expectations, and technical requirements.
• Prepare proposals, meet deadlines, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
• Conduct procurement of goods and services in alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Create purchase orders for all supply requests and orders.
• Review planned orders, generate requisitions for purchased items, and manage the approval process.
• Transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders and supporting documents to suppliers.
• Track orders, confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and costs, and maintain purchase orders until they are finalized.
• Contribute to consolidating, reducing, and rationalizing the supplier base.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role (experience in the Energy sector is preferred).
• Fluency in Azeri, English, and Russian.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong understanding of industry and market conditions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
