Baku Shipyard LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Department. The main role of the Reporting Specialist is to support the Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and annual Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow, and Capital changes reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and tax reports.
  • Prepare management reports, and assist in company budget compilation.
  • Analyze and verify the accuracy of the Trial Balance.
  • Work closely with external auditors.
  • Actively participate in the transition to a new ERP system.
  • Oversee control activities within the reporting process.
  • Provide training and support to team members on reporting requirements.
  • Develop and debug new functionalities in existing reports.
  • Prepare various breakdowns for reporting purposes.
  • Optimize existing reports for improved performance and usability.
  • Perform additional tasks and ad-hoc reports as assigned by the line manager.

Tələblər

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
  • Proved knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Passed papers on international accounting certifications (e.g., ACCA F3, F7) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience;
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of accuracy;
  • Experience in production companies is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani, with at least a pre-intermediate level of English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Azerbaijan Tax regulations.
