• Develop and implement the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework aligned with industry’s best practices;
• Identify, assess, and monitor strategic, operational, project, financial, and HSE risks across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations;
• Facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, Bow-Tie analysis, and quantitative risk assessments (QRA);
• Maintain and update the corporate risk register, ensuring risks are ranked, mitigated, and tracked;
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, HSE, and Finance to embed risk management practices in decision-making;
• Support the evaluation of capital projects, EPC contracts, and JV agreements from a risk perspective;
• Lead risk workshops, scenario planning, and contingency planning exercises with cross-functional teams;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and board committees;
• Act as focal point during audits, regulatory reviews, and insurance assessments;
• Drive continuous improvement in risk culture, including staff training and awareness programs.

Location: Gum Adasi, Baku, Azerbaijan.

Schedule: 08:00 – 17:00.

Transportation: Provided by the company via shuttle buses (to and from the office).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline;
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector, with at least 5 years of experience in risk management roles;
• Strong understanding of risks associated with Oil & Gas operations and ability to categorize and evaluate risks effectively;
• Proven experience in risk management methodologies, tools, and best practices;
• Excellent command of English and Azerbaijani; Russian language proficiency will be considered an advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Proficiency with Risk Management Systems / Software;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• High level of communication and reporting skills with the ability to present complex risk concepts clearly;
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in critical situations.
