- Liaise with the Client’s In-Country Team and Construction Supervisors (FTLs) on day-to-day issues.
- Troubleshoot design challenges, identify, and resolve issues with Construction Contractors by raising and resolving Site/Technical Queries.
- Ensure compliance with workpacks (E&I) and proactively raise site queries to the engineering team.
- Review and complete as-built documentation and ensure acceptance of final system handover documentation.
- Attend daily/weekly progress meetings and provide status reports as required.
- Plan, assist in direction, and execute offshore work, ensuring compliance with project objectives.
- Maintain quality assurance to confirm installations align with plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with construction management to eliminate hazards affecting safety, health, or the environment.
- Interpret P&ID’s. ETD, HUP, LAY, SLD, LOP and ILD etc.
- Resolve technical engineering issues and coordinate solutions.
- Support material availability coordination with material coordinators and engineering teams.
- Review construction method statements, ITPs, MTCs, and checklists.
- Provide required support during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Ensure project schedules are met and collaborate with subcontractors during construction.
Tələblər
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in construction engineering, preferably in supervisory roles within the Oil & Gas sector. Extensive experience in EPC environments is an advantage.
- Offshore & Onshore experience preferred; BP site experience is an advantage.
- Certifications: Performing Authority certification preferred.
- Safety Focus: Strong knowledge of risk assessments, hazard identification (HAZID), What-If, and constructability reviews.
- Technical Knowledge: Excellent understanding of construction processes, specifications, and industry standards.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify risks to project delivery and implement mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Proven ability to interpret and review discipline documentation, including workpacks.
