This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Lawyer based in Baku. The Senior Lawyer will handle legal research, draft legal documents, represent the Institute in legal proceedings, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. The role involves collaborating with internal departments to provide legal guidance and participating in the drafting and review of technical normative legal acts related to food safety. The Senior Lawyer will also liaise with external stakeholders to ensure adherence to both national and international food safety standards.

• Legal Research, Drafting Legal Documents, Legal Proceedings skills;
• Experience in regulations and compliance;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
• Experience with policy development and legal advisory roles;
• Bachelor's degree in Law, with a focus on food safety or related field;
• Relevant professional certification or license to practice law;
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
