- Providing technical / engineering support to site construction activities on temporary structures and heavy lifting;
- Verify that all design and calculations comply with company requirements and relevant procedures;
- Check and ensure deliverables comply with relevant procedures and safety regulations;
- Working closely with other construction and engineering team members;
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and composite structures following international codes and standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocode, API);
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and material specifications for fabrication and construction;
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to verify compliance with design and resolve technical issues during construction;
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and piping engineers, to ensure structural integrity and project integration.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation such as method statements, risk assessments, and inspection/test plans;
- Participate in root cause investigations and provide engineering solutions to structural failures or discrepancies;
- Assist in developing and implementing structural engineering standards, procedures, and quality control processes;
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors during design reviews and site audits;
- Evaluate the impact of modifications, temporary works, and lifting operations on existing structures;
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor drawings and technical proposals related to structural components;
- Keep updated with the latest developments in structural engineering codes, software, and construction techniques.
Working Schedule:
- Mon–Fri: 07:15 – 17:00;
- Saturday: 07:15 – 15:30.

Tələblər
- Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
Good English communication skills; - Familiar with international design codes (AISC, ASCE 7, API RP2A);
- Familiar with international lifting/rigging operation codes (BS 7121, Loler 1998, BS EN 13414-3);
Must have experience in SAP 2000 or STAAD Pro (desirable); - Relevant offshore load out, transportation, and installation experience;
- Minimum of 10 years of structural design and engineering experience;
- Good understanding of fabrication/construction techniques at the fabricator's facility;
Knowledge of a 2D drafting package in AutoCAD; - Proficient in all Microsoft programs;
- Understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS, SACS, ABAQUS);
- Experience in preparing and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and technical reports;
- Familiarity with classification society rules (e.g., DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s Register);
- Knowledge of material selection and corrosion protection strategies for offshore or marine environments;
- Familiarity with structural integrity management (SIM) and life extension projects;
- Experience preparing and reviewing design calculations, specifications, and detailed drawings;
- Good understanding of dynamic analysis, fatigue analysis, and seismic design considerations;
- Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on practical engineering solutions;
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements in design and site activities;
- Ability to mentor and support junior engineers and review their work;
- Capability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines under minimal supervision;
- Practical experience with modifications and brownfield projects in live plants or platforms;
- Strong client-facing skills: ability to participate in design review meetings and present technical concepts clearly.
