The school’s swimming assistant is mainly responsible for supporting the development of students’ swimming skills, ensuring safety during swimming lessons, encouraging interest in sports activities, and assisting the swimming instructor. The assistant should provide support in organizing training, monitoring students’ progress, and assisting with daily procedures.

Internal Reporting Line:

• Reports directly to the swimming instructor and the Head of the Sports Department;
• Member of the supporting team.

Main Duties:

• Ensuring students’ safety during swimming lessons;
• Assisting the instructor in organizing and conducting lessons;
• Supporting the development and monitoring of students’ swimming techniques;
• Preparing and maintaining sports equipment;
• Assisting in the organization of competitions and school sports events.

• Education or relevant certification in sports/swimming;
• At least 2 years of experience in swimming or coaching;
• Knowledge of first aid and safety rules;
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel), ability to use internet and email;
• English language proficiency is an advantage.
