- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Compliance with Worldwide Standards Management System Procedures;
- Responsible for preparing and presenting the Detailed Integrated shutdown work packs, covering all Company- managed activities, to the platform management (both crews, where practicable) during the pre-shutdown preparatory phase;
- Hold a current offshore survival/medical certificate;
- Must be able to pass BP GOC (guidance on certification) course for multi-disciplinary skills-Structural, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation;
- Knowledge of and compliance with client, industry and international specifications and standards;
- Liaise with Rig Managers, Onshore/Offshore Maintenance Superintendents, BP Project Engineers, and Well Superintendents, OIM, and Well Site Leaders to ensure that Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering are aware of all shutdown work scope activities to be carried out during the shutdown period;
- To review all vendor Workpacks to ensure the scope of work is correct and all pre-/pre-commissioning paperwork is in place;
- Responsible for ensuring that all eCOW requirements have been prepared and are in the Workpack (During offshore implementation of work scopes);
- Responsible for ensuring all required lifting plans have been reviewed and are in the Workpack;
- Responsible for ensuring required GRA (Generic Risk Assessments) are prepared for the necessary work scope and placed in the Workpack;
- Responsible for checking that material requirements for the offshore work scope are placed in the Workpack;
- Responsible for ensuring that all required drawings, including P&IDs, hydraulic schematics, E&I interconnecting drawings, general arrangements, etc., are included in the Workpack;
- Responsible for ensuring the vendor commissioning procedures are in the Workpack and completed and signed off on work scope completion before the Vendor demobilises from the platform;
- Responsible for compiling all GOC (Guideline of Certification) documentation in the Workpack and ensuring that all documentation is completed offshore and signed before the vendor demobs from the platform;
- Responsible for ensuring all handover documents are completed/signed off by all appropriate parties to allow equipment to be handed back to operations;
- Responsible for ensuring any PMs (Preventive Maintenance) are incorporated within the shutdown period and the Workpack;
- To be offshore to complete all GOC certification during shutdowns;
- Upon completion of Shutdown, all documentation is to be downloaded into the BP database;
- Workpacks to be updated to As Built.

Experience
- Proven experience in Project Engineering with a background in the delivery of both onshore and offshore workpacks;
- Experience in GOC documentation;
- Strong background in interacting with third-party vendors and meeting client requirements;
- Experience working in an offshore environment.
Behaviour and Skills
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure awareness of shutdown work scope activities;
- Strong coordination and organisational skills for managing detailed workpacks;
- Knowledge of and compliance with client, industry and international specifications and standards;
- Technical discipline background. (Electrical / Mechanical).
Minimum Qualifications
- Recognised Electrical / Mechanical Apprenticeship;
- Hold a current offshore survival/medical certificate;
- Must be able to pass BP GOC (guidance on certification) course for multi-disciplinary skills-Structural, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation.
