• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials;
• Manage and optimize transportation routes, warehouse operations, and inventory control to enhance efficiency;
• Coordinate with global agents, truckers, shipping lines, airlines and customs authorities to ensure smooth shipment processing;
• Oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and local laws;
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings;
• Collaborate with customers’ procurement, sales, and project teams to align logistics plans with business needs;
• Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and warehouse operators to secure favorable terms;
• Address and resolve logistical challenges, including delays, damages, and supplier issues;
• Ensure all logistics activities adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations;
• Prepare and present reports on logistics operations, performance trends, and cost analysis to senior management.

Working conditions: 

• Location: Baku city;
• Sector: International Logistics of Containers from Country to Country ;
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 working days per week;
• Working hours: 3 p.m. – 02 a.m. (at the office and online);
• Lunch time in the office – 1 hour.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics, supply chain, or transportation management;
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export regulations, and international freight operations.
• Fluent spoken and written English skills;
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software is preferred;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
