- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with company methodology and international auditing standards (IFRS, ISA).
- Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and internal control environments.
- Perform risk assessments and substantive audit procedures to to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to delivering value-added insights.
Working hours: 09:00 am-18:00 pm, 5 days in a week
Location: Baku
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and international auditing standards.
- Experience auditing clients across various sectors.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure during peak periods.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to pursue professional certifications (ACCA) is a plus.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.
- Opportunity to travel.
Personal qualities:
- Familiarity with audit software or accounting systems.
- Internship or previous experience in auditing or accounting is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
