Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time

As the Lead Electrical Designer, you will:

• Be an Azerbaijani citizen;
• Aid the project in creating schedules, time assignment and resource allocation;
• Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements.
• Input to project plans;
• Identify areas of concern during any project or study;
• Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value;
• Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution;
• Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential).

You’ll have experience of: 

• Producing, checking and approving deliverables that conform to all applicable industry engineering codes and standards as well as the client’s policies and procedures relative to the equipment being specified; Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes therefore required;
• Leading a team of designers and coordinating work tasks to achieve required plan dates or be a senior / principal engineer looking for a step up in their career;
• Managing design team budgets, produce scope estimates and recognising and controlling scope change;
• Demonstrable Experience and Knowledge in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.

Qualifications

• HND in relevant engineering discipline;
• Previous demonstrable experience in detailed design;
• Experience in design checking;
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant oil and gas industry codes and standards;
• Understanding of all engineering disciplines;
• Highly competent in the use of Autodesk design products;
• Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS;
• Exposure to People Management;
• Excellent written and spoken English .
