- Lead and manage the logistics support team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize inventory levels, transportation, and warehousing operations.
- Coordinate logistics activities with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure accurate tracking and optimal stock levels of materials and products.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock, reduce carrying costs, and enhance order fulfillment efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to logistics and transportation.
- Promote safety protocols and best practices within the logistics team to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, such as delivery performance, order accuracy, and inventory turnover.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics principles, inventory management, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
